About Sayozuki

Sayozuki is a small inn in Kaminoyama Onsen, an old castle town and hot spring resort at the foot of the Zao mountains in Yamagata.

There are no grand performances here. Soak in the hot spring, listen to the stillness outside the window, and simply do nothing. We have prepared that space for you.

Hot Spring

Kaminoyama Onsen is said to have been flowing for more than 500 years. Its gentle water, rich in chloride and sulfate, warms you to the core and keeps you warm long after your bath.
